Mir Concrete Products Limited has signed a contract with Italian Thai Development Public Company Ltd. (ITD) to supply Concrete Hollow Blocks for the Metro Rail Project. As part of the Metro Rail Project by Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), Italian Thai Development Public Company Ltd. (ITD) was awarded the construction of Viaducts and Stations from Uttara North to Pallabi and from Pallabi to Agargaon in 2015.
At the contract signing ceremony, the Managing Director of Mir Group, Naba-E-Zaheer and the Interface and Project Coordinator of Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project (DMTC), Mr. Varote Tesnes, was present. The concrete hollow bricks are very effective for any sort of construction development, given its lightweight yet rigid structure. This will profoundly ensure the sustainability and durability of the platforms and viaducts to be built as part of the project.
